James W. Foley Moral Courage Speaker Series: A Conversation with Patrick Radden Keefe  – Moral Courage & Storytelling

Event Details

Hosted By The Friends of Jim Society

The James W. Foley Moral Courage Speaker Series highlights individuals who exemplify moral courage in their professional and personal lives, much like Jim Foley did in his capacity as a friend, teacher, journalist, and photographer.

A collection of Jim’s friends formed the Friends of Jim Society to honor his legacy and highlight the work of the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation, created in Jim’s memory to advocate for American hostages and wrongful detainees and to support journalist safety.

This event is moderated by Bill Ryan, who became friends with Jim while serving together in Teach for America.
