About the James W. Foley Legacy Foundation

The Foley Foundation (JWFLF) advocates for American hostages and wrongful detainees held abroad and promotes journalist safety. Established after the brutal murder of conflict journalist James Foley by ISIS in 2014, the Foundation seeks to further Jim’s legacy through advocacy, education, and support for families of Americans held abroad.
