2022 Annual Report
2022 saw 20 innocent U.S. nationals returned home, legislative enhancements that include a Hostage/Wrongful Detainee flag as well as essential victim and family support, the translation of the JWFLF curricula will be offered in four Lebanese universities and British jihadists Alexanda Kotey and El Shafee Elsheikh sentenced to life in prison without parole.
2021 Annual Report
2021 was full of incredible highlights, including the launching the Congressional Task Force for Americans Held Hostage and Wrongfully Detained Abroad, the publication of our 3rd annual research study, Bringing Americans Home and increased access to safety training for freelance journalists.
2020 Annual Report
2020 was especially challenging for American hostages and journalists impacted by the pandemic and growing threats against the press. But thanks to our generous supporters, we were able to continue fulfilling our critical mission to assist them.
