The U.S. Department of State’s Office of the Special Presidential Envoy for Hostage Affairs, in partnership with the Foley Foundation, McCain Institute, Hostage US, New America and the Hostages and Missing Families Forum invites you to join us in commemorating U.S. Hostage and Wrongful Detainee Day on March 6, 2025, at:

If you are unable to attend in-person, the event will be livestreamed here.
Please enter the building using the 21st Street entrance. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and the event begins at 9:30 a.m. All attendees must present an official government photo ID card (i.e., U.S. driver’s license or passport) upon entry. Programming will include a panel discussion followed by a flag raising ceremony. Time is subject to change.
