Gadi was a father of four, grandfather of seven, and a peace activist. He loved music, especially wind instruments.
He was tragically murdered on October 7, 2023, along with his wife, Judih Weinstein-Haggai, when Hamas attacked their kibbutz at Nir Oz. Gadi’s and Judih’s remains have not been returned to their family to allow for proper burial.
*Haggai is the first American hostage to have been killed during the conflict.
