Judih was a mother of four, grandmother to seven, and taught English to children with special needs. She looked for ways to advance peace in the region, through her poetry, entrepreneurship, and teaching.
She was tragically murdered, alongside her husband, Gadi Haggai, on October 7, 2023 when Hamas attacked Kibbutz Nir Oz. They were the first civilian causalities of the war. Judih’s and Gadi’s remains have not been returned to the family to allow for proper burial.
