Robert Alan Levinson was an American former Drug Enforcement Administration and Federal Bureau of Investigation agent who disappeared on March 9, 2007, in Kish Island, Iran, while on a mission for the CIA.
In March 2020, it was reported that Levinson’s family, and the United States government, had concluded that Levinson had likely died in Iranian custody at some point before 2020.
On March 25th, 2020, the Levinson Family released a statement posted on the family’s Help Bob Levinson Facebook page and website.
