It’s been more than 600 days since Dr. Youlin Chen’s family has heard from him, after a trip to visit family in China turned into a fight for freedom.
On Nov. 5, 2024, the Chinese American seismologist was on his way back to Boston when China’s state security agents detained him at Beijing Capital International Airport.
